Areas Of Practice
The Zambezi Watercourse Commission (ZAMCOM) is a major river basin organization in Africa. It was established in 2014 as an inter-governmental organisation that brings together 8 Riparian states that share the Zambezi River Basin, as stipulated in the 2004 ZAMCOM Agreement and in accordance with the revised SADC Protocol on Shared Watercourses of 2000. The Riparian States to the Zambezi River Basin are: the Republic of Angola, the Republic of Botswana, the Republic of Malawi, the Republic of Mozambique, the Republic of Namibia, the Republic of Tanzania , the Republic of Zambia and the Republic of Zimbabwe.
Objective
ZAMCOM’s objective is “to promote the equitable and reasonable utilization of the water resources of the Zambezi Watercourse as well as the efficient management and sustainable development thereof”.
Vision and Mission
ZAMCOM’s vision and mission draw from regional aspirations, the Integrated Water Resources Management Strategy and Implementation Plan for the Zambezi River Basin; and the ZAMCOM Agreement. The vision envisages a future characterised by equitable and sustainable utilisation of water for social and environmental justice, regional integration and economic benefit for present and future generations. In pursuit of that future, ZAMCOM strives to promote the equitable and reasonable utilisation of the water resources of the Zambezi Watercourse as well as the efficient management and sustainable development thereof.

When and how was it established?
The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission was established on the 8th of September 2005 when His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe swore in the first commissioners. The establishment of ZACC is conducted in accordance to the Constitution of Zimbabwe and the Anti-Corruption Commission Act which outline ZACC’s powers, functions and objectives
About Us
Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company is a Private Limited Company wholly owned by Defold Mine (Pvt) Ltd which has 100% shareholding. The Company has mining operations in Manicaland in Mutare’ s Chiadzwa area and in Chimanimani.
The Company is conducting exploration and resource evaluation programs across Zimbabwe and expects to open new mines in other parts of the country soon.
ZCDC was issued with Special Grants 6026 and 6460 which vests mineral rights to carry out mining operations for diamonds in Chiadzwa and Chimanimani respectively.

About Us
The Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission (ZHRC) is a national human rights institution which was established under section 242 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe. It is an independent Commission whose main mandate is to protect, promote and enforce human rights.
The Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission (ZHRC) was created by the Global Political Agreement (GPA) which was signed by the three major political actors (ZANU PF and two MDC formations) in this country in 2008 and was given effect by Constitution Amendment 19 and specifically section 100R of the former Constitution. It is now established by the current Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No.20) Act 2013, Chapter 12, commonly referred to as “Independent Commissions supporting democracy” and sections 242-244 of the same. It is operationalised by the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission Act Chapter 10:30 which was promulgated on the 12th of October, 2012.
