Extradition Designated Countries Order, 1990

THE Minister of Home Affairs, in terms of section 13 of the Extradition Act, 1982, and after consultation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby makes the following order:—

1. This order may be cited as the Extradition (Designated Countries) Order, 1990.
2. The countries specified in the Schedule are declared to be designated countries to which the provisions of Part II of the Act shall apply without modification or adaptation.
3. The Extradition (Designated Country) (United Kingdom) Order, 1983, published in Statutory Instrument 364 of 1983 and the Extradition (Designated Country) (Australia) Order, 1989, published in Statutory instrument 252 of 1989, are repealed.
